The views from our room were simply breathtaking, especially over the gorge and the charming hanging houses. With large, comfy rooms and a central location, we enjoyed exploring Cuenca with my sister easily. The staff were incredibly friendly, making our stay delightful.
My wife says that more breakfast options would be great for families.

Does it deliver?
The location is just fabulous the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our room had two balconies with magnificent views that made our experience unforgettable.
The hotel has a lot of stairs and the quirky nature of the rooms might not suit everyone. Some features felt quite dated and lacked modern convenience.

The location is just fabulous, right near all the sights! The charming old building gives you amazing views that make you feel on top of the world. Oh, and those lovely mountain views from my room were to die for!
However, the mattresses felt like sleeping on bricks! Also, I could've sworn the coffee was brewed by someone who didn’t really like coffee.

Had a lovely stay at Posada San Jose! Our room had amazing views of the gorge and a cozy balcony. The breakfast was decent at a great price, and the restaurant served delicious food with gorgeous views. The only downside was the hard bed, but it didn't ruin our visit!
